On Thursday, March 8 and Friday March 9 at the U of Michigan Lacrosse Classic, three of Marian's finest alumnae will face off against one another!!
Thursday, March 8 will showcase USC vs. Michigan where Lauren Gaer, class of 2005 and a sophomore at USC will play against Taylor Griglak, class of 2006 and her Michigan Wolverines! Then on Friday, March 9 Lauren Gaer and her USC Trojans will play against Katie Popowich, class of 2005 and her Michigan State Spartans! More news and updates to follow on this great event!!

Lauren Gaer does it again!
Lauren Gaer, one of Marian's two-sport captains, in field hockey and lacrosse, has made her mark not only in lacrosse out west at the University of Southern California but also to the east at the University of London in field hockey. Lauren is the only American woman on the current London School of Economics and Political Science field hockey club team. Her teammates are both British and German women. Lauren is spending her junior year in England at LSE after making the Dean’s List in each of her four terms at the University of Southern California with a dual major in economics and mathematics.
Way to go Lauren!!
Claire Paszkiewicz named Athlete of the Week!
Claire Paszkiewicz '07 was recently named Xavier University's Athlete of the Week. Claire took over the starting setting position half way through the season and has led the Muskateers to a berth in the NCAAA Tournament. Way to go Claire!
Clare Aubrey named Captain!
Clare Aubrey '05 was recently named captain of the Hillsdale Chargers basketball team. Clare has been on the team for the past two years. Her aptitude for hard work and dedication earned her this title. Congratulations to Clare and good luck this season.
