Other Ways to give to Marian
Donations to Marian have a critical impact on all facets of school life. The ways you can support the school are diverse and rewarding. While the tradition giving opportunities include the Annual Fund, planned giving, and memorials and honoraria, there are a variety of other ways to give.
Over the years, many individuals have donated sculptures, painting, books, equipment, and other types of personal property to Marian. Businesses, as well as individuals, have given gifts of materials and services to the school. These donations are an important source of gifting that enables the school to support programs, make capital improvements, and direct operating funds to critical areas. These gifts are tax-deductible to the extent of IRS regulations.
If you wish to make an in-kind gift, please contact Lorry Kempf, Vice President of Advancement at (248) 644-1946 or (866) 903-7269 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Gifts of time and talent
When was the last time you came to watch Marian athletes play in a basketball or soccer game? Have you attended a recent Open House? Have you enjoyed a performance by the Marian Rice Players recently? We would like to see you at such events during the school year because your presence and your time are the most precious gifts you can give our students. And you are some of the best ambassadors for our school.
Here are some other ways that you could get involved around campus:
- Make a presentation to Marian students about your career.
- Mentor a Marian student who is interested in your profession.
- Share your expertise by assisting with technology, planned giving, public relations, marketing, etc.
- Help with school mailings.
- Work on a class reunion or at an alumnae event.
Marian thrives because of our volunteers! If you would be willing to help with any of these requests, we would be most grateful. Please contact Patricia O’Leary Knipper, Director of Alumnae Relations, at (248) 644-1946 or (866) 903-7269 or at email@example.com.
