Field Day

Field Day is a day away from the normal “readin’, writin’, and ’rithmetic” and an opportunity for students to become involved in community and class building activities. Friendships are made, pride in each class is strengthened, and students get to create costumes from colored garbage bags!  Each class determines its theme for the event; the theme is then incorporated into every facet of the day including t-shirt and costume designs, song writing contests, parades, students, and banner contests.

 Year after year classes put in weeks of preparation, hard work, and dedication simply to earn the bragging rights of being named Field Day Champions!
