Candlelight
Candlelight is an annual end-of-the-year tradition where seniors pass the leadership torch, a lit candle, to the juniors in exchange for a yellow rose. While the candle symbolizes leadership, the yellow rose represents friendship. Candlelight is the first time the seniors wear their caps and gowns; this ceremony, filled with songs and speeches about the bonds formed at Marian, marks the beginning of graduation activities. Seniors are formally welcomed into the Marian Alumnae Association.
