In the fall of the freshman year, students begin a career exploration process. Career Interest Day presents students with information and tips for developing a strong college profile, invites them to explore and consider career interests, and assists them in personalizing and creating a computer-generated career interest profile.
Resources in Marian Guidance
Students are encouraged (and parents are welcome!) to visit the College and Career Resource Room located in the Marian Guidance Department. This collection of books and periodical resources provides students with information about colleges, college search resources, and scholarships, as well as career information and ACT/SAT preparation packets.
Marian is the site for an annual MACRAO-sponsored College Night when approximately 80 colleges are represented. In addition, many colleges and universities schedule individual visits to Marian’s campus during the school year.
