Marian Alumnae Named University of Notre Dame Valedictorian
Mallory Anne Meter, alumna from the Marian Class of 2009, was named valedictorian of the University of Notre Dame Class of 2013. A psychology major, Mallory will present the valedictory address during the University commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 19 at Notre Dame Stadium.

Marian Seniors Sign National Letter of Intent
Four Marian High School seniors recently signed national letters of intent to play their sports in college. Catherine Anger signed with Regis University in Denver, CO to play soccer; Rilka Noel signed with University of Notre Dame to play soccer; Kaitlyn Nummer signed with Miami University of Ohio to play soccer; and Madison Taylor signed with Denison University in Grandville, OH for swimming.

Marian Senior Morgan Kavanaugh has earned the highest possible composite score of 36 on the ACT college admission and placement exam. Nationally, while the actual number of students earning a composite score of 36 varies from year to year, less than one-tenth of one percent of students who take the ACT earn a top score.

Marian Student Hones Leadership Skills at Hillsdale College
Marian Senior, Victoria Fassett participated in the Economics for Leaders program at Hillsdale College July 15-22. She was one of only 32 students from around the country who was accepted onto the Foundation for Teaching Economics' Hillsdale Economics for Leaders program.
2012-2013 Marian Scholarship Recipients
Marian High School is pleased to announce the recipients of nearly $40,000 in scholarships for the 2012-2013 school year. Each scholarship has various criteria that each recipient is required to meet. Scholarships are based on review of nominations and/or applications, responses to essay questions, and, in some cases, personal interviews.
