Credit Requirements
A minimum of 24.50 credits is required for graduation.
Classes
A typical schedule consists of 7 classes that meet daily. The average class size is 15 students.
Honors and AP Courses
Marian challenges highly motivated and academically talented students by offering 26 honors and 16 Advanced Placement courses.
Distinguished Faculty
Marian’s qualified and dedicated faculty is fully certified, with 80% of the faculty holding Master’s degrees or higher. Approximately 70% of Marian’s teachers are veteran teachers of 10 years or more. Student-to-faculty ratio is 15:1.
Student Body
Marian’s 370 students come from 45 communities spanning 4 counties. In the 2022-23 school year, 53 of those students come from 51 legacy families.
Accreditation
Marian, an IHM-sponsored school, is fully accredited by NCA CASI,
an accrediting division of Cognia (formerly AdvancED).
Governance
The Board of Directors, established in 1990, is responsible for oversight of the school's mission. The Board selects and supports teh school's President, oversees the strategic plan, monitors the school's curriculum and co-curricular activities, and ensures adequate resources. The Board establishes policies through its eight committees and five subcommittees.
