Front Office Assistant - Marian is looking for a full time Front Office Assistant. The Front Office Assistant will offer the first impression of a gracious, caring school through direct contact with visitors in the Front Office and through phone conversations. This position will handle a large amount of phone traffic, directing calls and visitors to appropriate areas, and taking messages when necessary. The Front Office Assistant will accept deliveries and messages for students and staff, distributing them in a timely manner. The Front Office Assistant will be generally aware of all school activities and the schedules of administration, faculty and staff. The Front Office Assistant will also be responsible for daily correspondence to the Marian Community that draws on that awareness. This correspondence will primarily take the form of electronic communication via digital signs and email messages. The Front Office Assistant will attend three monthly, after-school meetings and be responsible for taking and publishing minutes for those meetings. The Front Office Assistant will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the office supply stock for the Front Office. Substitute Teachers - Marian is seeking qualified substitute teachers for the remainder of the 20-21 school year and beyond. A college education is required, and a teaching certificate issued by the Michigan Department of Education is preferred.  In addition, all qualified candidates must complete a Protecting God’s Children workshop and a criminal background check.
