Part-Time School Counselor
Marian High School is seeking a part-time (0.5+ FTE) School Counselor for the 2022-23 school year. High School Counseling experience and experience with PowerSchool and Naviance software are preferred but not required.
Marian is a college preparatory school, and the Counseling Department implements a comprehensive, four-year counseling curriculum. Naviance software as well as counselor-taught live lessons are used frequently and extensively to begin the college conversation as early as the fall of freshman year.
Job qualifications: Master’s Degree or higher in Counseling, Education or Social Work PLUS one of the following: SCL School Counselor License, OR NT Counseling Endorsement for Michigan teacher-certified school counselors, OR LPC Licensed Professional Counselor credential.

Executive Assistant for Advancement
(Full Time, Full Calendar Year) As a member of the Advancement Team, the Executive Assistant serves as a primary point of contact and supports the work of Marian High School in the following areas: Funds Development, Alumnae Engagement, Communications and Board of Directors. This position plays a key administrative role supporting the Head of School and Vice President for Advancement by scheduling meetings, arranging logistics and preparing materials. The Assistant will organize and coordinate office resources and supplies in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and streamline administrative procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide receptionist coverage for the Head of School and Office of Advancement
- Work closely with the Head of School and Vice President for Advancement on daily scheduling activities and provide clerical support and assistance on special projects (e.g., copies of the master calendar, information packets, various research projects)
- Coordinate use of meeting spaces and the meetings; maintain calendars of meeting spaces
- Provide support for all Board of Directors and Board Committee meetings including scheduling, RSVP process, meeting set up and minutes
- Leverage Raiser’s Edge to update and maintain records, enter activities, steward and cultivate relationships
- Support the donation handling and gift entry process in accordance to Marian standards
- Assist in managing the Advancement Scholarship process
- Provide support to Advancement events, fundraising initiatives including Spring Raffle and activities led by Marian Clubs
- Ensure visitors are greeted and follow the sign-in and badge process
- Ensure the guest reception area, machine room and supply areas are well maintained and organized
- Responsible for inventory, ordering and management of office supplies, postage and materials
- Manage the day to day mail operations and assist with the development and execution of large mailings including solicitations, stewardship and holiday cards
Experience
Bachelor's degree required
- 1-2 years of administrative support or project planning in a non-profit environment, preferably in fund development
- Demonstrated ability to provide donors, volunteers and community partners with exceptional customer service and first-class experiences
- Project management skills with a track record of exceeding expectations while delivering on-time results in a complex environment
- Familiarity with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and Raiser's Edge, a plus
