Athletic Director
Thank you for your interest in the position of Athletic Director (AD) at Marian High School.  Marian is actively seeking an individual to fill this administrative position beginning on the start of the fiscal year:  July 1, 2021.  Marian’s AD is responsible for managing all facets of the school’s athletic programming within the context of the Marian Mission and Vision.  Some of the responsibilities of this role are listed here.
  • Generate, maintain, and implement the Athletics Department budget
  • Develop contest schedules for the school’s three athletic seasons
  • Secure and supervise coaching staffs for 18 sports
  • Secure and maintain athletic equipment for 18 sports
  • Register student-athletes for Marian’s athletic programs
  • Secure transportation for coaches and student-athletes travelling to off-site contest locations
  • Oversee the maintenance and contest preparation of Marian’s athletic facilities
  • Secure athletic spaces at off-campus locations
  • Secure officials and security personnel for Marian contests
  • Supervise all athletic events hosted by Marian High School
  • Coordinate and distribute athletic awards

Marian prefers that AD candidates have the following qualifications.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
  • Varsity-level coaching experience
  • Experience administering athletic programming at the high school level
  • A valid Michigan Driver License

English Teacher
Marian High School is seeking a full-time English teacher for the 2021-22 school year. The successful candidate will hold a current English (BA) endorsement through the state of Michigan. Attendance Coordinator
Marian High School is seeking an Attendance Coordinator for the 2021-22 school year. This is a full time, 10-month position. The Attendance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate attendance records for students, faculty, and staff, corresponding daily with Community members relative to absences, securing and liaising with substitute teachers when members of the teaching faculty are absent, coordinating student use of Birmingham and Bloomfield school bus systems, processing accident reports, triaging unwell students, and corresponding regularly with the Oakland County Health Division relative to student health records and public health matters.Qualified and interested candidates should upload a letter of interest, current resume, and 3 references to https://tinyurl.com/employmentMHS

Substitute Teachers
Marian is seeking qualified substitute teachers for the remainder of the 20-21 school year and beyond. A college education is required, and a teaching certificate issued by the Michigan Department of Education is preferred.  In addition, all qualified candidates must complete a Protecting God’s Children workshop and a criminal background check.
