Alumna Cherise McAdoo '14 Speaks to Intro to Business Class

Marian High School recently welcomed alumna Cherise McAdoo ’14, owner of Resourceful Reese, a creative marketing and communications agency, to present to students in the Intro to Business class. McAdoo shared valuable insights into the marketing profession while offering professional development advice to the budding entrepreneurs.

Her presentation covered essential topics such as networking strategies, recruiting tools, tips on applying for positions, and the critical role of social media in shaping career paths. “Your social media presence can make or break your career,” McAdoo reminded the students, urging them to be mindful of their online footprints.

As a successful entrepreneur, McAdoo's advice resonated deeply with students, giving them practical knowledge and the inspiration to pursue their own business dreams. In addition to her business insights, McAdoo reflected on the nostalgic experience of returning to her alma mater. "Walking down the halls, I remembered the business ideas and programs I wrote down at lunch and in study hall. I remembered the teachers and classmates who would push me to think bigger, pray more, and go harder. To think that God allowed some of those things to come to pass in such a short time brings me to tears," she shared.

The Marian community is deeply grateful to McAdoo for taking the time to connect with our students. It is always inspiring to see our alumnae thriving in the world and continuing to give back to their Marian sisters.
