Marian High School proudly congratulates Charlotte DuBay ’25, who has been recognized as the recipient of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Good Citizen Award. The Piety Hill Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution honored 16 local high school students, including DuBay, at an event held on January 9, 2025 at the Bloomfield Township Public Library.
The DAR Good Citizen Award celebrates individuals who exemplify the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. DubBay was selected for this distinguished honor by her teachers and peers, recognizing her outstanding commitment to leadership and service.
Speaking about DuBay’s achievement, Marian Counselor Elle Flynn ’13 remarked, “Charlotte is one of a kind. No matter the challenge, she takes it on with grace and determination. Her passion and dedication shine through in everything she does.”
A dedicated and accomplished student, DuBay plays an active role in numerous school and community activities. She is a leader in Forensics, Field Hockey, Senior Football, All School Board, Model United Nations, Everytown Survivor Network, and the Marian Mindset Project. She holds key leadership positions, serving as All School Board Co-President and Director of People & Processes for the Marian Mindset Project.
Beyond her achievements, DuBay is known for her kindness, thoughtfulness, passion, and confidence, making a lasting impact on her peers and the Marian community.
