On April 30, Marian High School proudly celebrated Spring 2025 National Signing Day, honoring two outstanding student-athletes—Isabella "Bella" Musachio and Molly McLeod—for their exceptional athletic achievements and commitment to continuing their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.
The event, hosted by Athletic Director Molly Campbell, opened with a heartfelt welcome and prayer, setting a reflective tone for the celebration. “Signing Day is not only a moment to reflect on the hard work that has led up to this point,” Campbell shared, “but also an opportunity to recognize the bright futures that lie ahead for each of these young women.”
Bella Musachio, a standout three-sport athlete in soccer, track and field, and boarder cross, signed to play collegiate soccer at Saint Mary’s College. A two-time state finalist with Marian’s soccer team, Bella was recognized for her All-League and All-State honors, as well as her leadership and commitment both on and off the field.
“Marian provided me with an extremely competitive soccer team that challenged and supported my morals of a team sport,” Bella shared. “The Marian community also helped grow my confidence on and off the field tremendously.”
Also honored was Molly McLeod, one of the most accomplished basketball players in Marian history. A 1,000-point scorer and three-time All-League selection, Molly will continue her athletic journey at Albion College. Known for her leadership, faith, and dedication, Molly credited her Marian experience with shaping her both as an athlete and a person.
“Being at a Catholic school helped me grow in my faith and brought me closer to God—this played a big role in my confidence, both in practice and in big games,” Molly reflected.
Principal Stacey Cushman also offered words of encouragement to the students, thanking their families, coaches, and supporters for guiding them to this milestone. “Today is a celebration, but also a beginning,” she said. “We know you will continue to make us proud as you represent Marian with integrity, perseverance, and faith.”
The ceremony concluded with a final prayer and the signing of the athletes’ Letters of Intent.
Congratulations to Bella and Molly—your Marian family is proud of you and will be cheering you on every step of the way! Go Mustangs!
