Welcoming the Class of 2025 into the Alumnae Sisterhood: A Celebration of Sisterhood and Self-Discovery

Marian alumnae joined the Class of 2025 on Thursday, April 24, for the 13th Annual Alumnae and Senior Luncheon—a cherished tradition that honors the graduating class as they officially enter the Marian Alumnae Association. This beloved event symbolizes the unbreakable bond between past and present Marian women and celebrates the ever-growing sisterhood that defines our community.

This year’s luncheon was especially memorable, filled with joy, gratitude, and pride. The Class of 2025 was warmly welcomed by alumnae across generations, who came together to celebrate their transition into life beyond Marian. The afternoon offered moments of deep connection and inspiration, making it an experience that left a lasting impression on all who attended.

The program featured an unforgettable keynote address by Lauren Fladger Sinclair ’06, whose empowering message struck a chord with every person in the room. Drawing from her personal and professional journey, Lauren shared four powerful truths with the seniors:

  • Self-discovery is not a destination, but a lifelong practice.
  • Faith is not fragile—it is fierce, and it belongs in the spaces where we lead.
  • Rest is not a reward—it’s a right. Mental and spiritual health are essential.
  • And most importantly, Marian women are called to lift as we climb.

Her words left the room both speechless and empowered, reminding the Class of 2025 of the strength, purpose, and grace they carry with them as future alumnae.

The celebration continued with the presentation of the Distinguished Alumna of Tomorrow Award, delivered by Alumnae Association President Sarah Agius Davis ’97. This year’s honoree, Ruby Jansen ’25, was recognized for her outstanding character, dedication, and leadership within the Marian community. A University of Michigan rowing commit, a devoted student, and a steadfast friend, Ruby beautifully exemplifies the spirit of Marian sisterhood and the promise of the next generation.

Special thanks are extended to all the alumnae who joined us, and to The Village Club for their warm hospitality. We are especially grateful to Molly Doherty-O’Shea Gallucci ’83 for her generosity in sponsoring and hosting such a meaningful afternoon.

Congratulations to the Class of 2025 on this incredible milestone. We are so proud to welcome each of you into the Marian Alumnae Association and look forward to witnessing the impact you will make in the world. What a blessing it is to be part of such a strong, faith-filled, and ever-growing community of Marian women.
