Marian on the Move: Walkathon 2026
On Friday, students, faculty, and staff came together for Marian's annual Walkathon, a day dedicated to giving back, spending time together, and celebrating Marian sisterhood. This year’s event supported Angels’ Place, International Samaritan, and Wish Upon a Teen.
The day began with students gathering in the auditorium to hear more about the organizations they were supporting, including a moving talk from a resident of Angels’ Place. During a prayer service led by Marian’s All School Board, the auditorium lights were turned off and students lit the room with their phone flashlights as “Oceans” played in the background.
Following the three-mile walk, students spent the remainder of the morning singing karaoke, playing cornhole and Spikeball, and enjoying lunch prepared by the Marian Dads’ Club. The day ended with each grade watching a video montage filled with favorite memories from the school year.
From start to finish, Walkathon was a reminder of the traditions and experiences that shape student life at Marian!

Marian's final Formation Day of the school year was filled with House spirit as students gathered for one last afternoon of games, challenges, and friendly competition before the House Cup winner was announced.

During Teacher Appreciation Week, the Marian community took time to recognize and celebrate faculty and staff members marking milestone anniversaries at the school this year. Honorees were recognized during Marian’s final all-school Mass of the year in gratitude for their years of dedication, service, and commitment to Marian students.

The Marian & Brother Rice robotics team, the Mech Warriors, wrapped up another impressive season with its third trip to the World Championship in the past five years. Competing against 74 teams in its division, the Mech Warriors finished with a 7-3-0 record and ranked 17th overall.

On Thursday, Marian held Candlelight, a beloved tradition that marks the passing of leadership from the senior class to the junior class and celebrates the enduring bond of Marian sisterhood. Centered on the theme from Matthew 5:16, “Your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father,” the ceremony called students to lead with faith, compassion, and courage.
