Recognizing Our January Students of the Month

Recognizing Our January Students of the Month

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department Student of the Month Program recognizes students who exemplify outstanding characteristics both as a student and as a citizen of the Marian Community. Marian Students of the Month are able to handle many different aspects of student life while maintaining excellence within the classroom, showing great effort, good attendance, and excellent character through compassion, honesty, trustworthiness, optimism, and responsibility.

Each month, one student from each grade is nominated by Marian faculty or staff to be recognized. These students receive a certificate, a Student of the Month bumper sticker, a personalized card from their teachers and Marian staff members, and recognition on the MHUB. In addition, they are entered in a drawing to win a prize courtesy of the Detroit Pistons and/or Emagine Entertainment.

For the month of January, we are proud to recognize:

· Rosalie Rodgers - 9th grade

· Maria Burlingame - 10th grade

· Kayden McKay - 11th grade

· Pippa Dawson - 12th grade

Congratulations to our Marian Students of the Month!
