Marian Forensics Team Excels at First Catholic League Tournament

This past Saturday, the Marian Forensics Team competed in the first official Detroit Catholic Forensic League tournament of the season at Bishop Foley Catholic High School.

Congratulations to the duo team of Angelina Asmar and Jenell Gallozi, Gina Azar, Maggie Buckles, Lucille Clark, Madelyn Hasani, Chloe Konja, the duo team of Isabella Mansour and Alexandra Zimmermann, Kaitlyn Merritt, Molly Rudnick, Zellie Sarafa, and Giselle Sesi for their performances in the categories of Dramatic Performance, Duo Interpretation of Literature, Extemporaneous Speaking, Oral Interpretation of Literature, Oratorical Declamation, and Original Oratory.

All 11 Marian entries earned top-six ribbons! In total, the team scored three first-place ribbons, four second-place ribbons, one third-place ribbon, two fourth-place ribbons, and one fifth-place ribbon.

Way to go, Mustangs!

Katie Pietrosante ’26, has been named a recipient of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen Award.
