Mech Warriors Close Out Season at World Championship
The Marian & Brother Rice robotics team, the Mech Warriors, closed out another impressive season by making its third trip in five years to the World Championship in Houston. Competing against 74 teams in its division, the Mech Warriors finished with a 7-3-0 record and ranked 17th overall.
Congratulations to the Mech Warriors on an outstanding season and a strong showing on the world stage!
While competition season has come to a close, the team is already looking ahead and recruiting new members. No experience is needed, and all students are welcome to attend an information session on Thursday, May 7, at 3 p.m. in Room 205. Food will be provided.

Marian's final Formation Day of the school year was filled with House spirit as students gathered for one last afternoon of games, challenges, and friendly competition before the House Cup winner was announced.

During Teacher Appreciation Week, the Marian community took time to recognize and celebrate faculty and staff members marking milestone anniversaries at the school this year. Honorees were recognized during Marian’s final all-school Mass of the year in gratitude for their years of dedication, service, and commitment to Marian students.

On Thursday, Marian held Candlelight, a beloved tradition that marks the passing of leadership from the senior class to the junior class and celebrates the enduring bond of Marian sisterhood. Centered on the theme from Matthew 5:16, “Your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father,” the ceremony called students to lead with faith, compassion, and courage.
