Senior Claire Fagan's Pottery Selected for National Exhibition

Senior Claire Fagan has had one of her pottery pieces, titled "Bean Jar," selected for the National K-12 Ceramic Exhibition, which will take place at Detroit's Huntington Place Convention Center March 25-28 in conjunction with the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts Conference. 

Chosen from more than 1,000 submissions nationwide, Claire’s work is among just 150 pieces selected for exhibition and will be viewed by ceramic artists and educators from around the world.

Claire created the piece in her AP Studio Art: 3D Design class under the guidance of teacher Abbie Bailey. Congratulations to Claire on this outstanding accomplishment!

Math teacher Mrs. Sarah Walley has been recognized at Marian's Archdiocese of Detroit Teacher of Excellence recipient. Each year, the Archdiocese honors one educator from each school for excellence in teaching, dedication to the Catholic faith, and love for students. Mrs. Walley was selected in recognition of the meaningful impact she has already made during her first year at Marian.
