2026 Marian Summer Camps

Marian High School Summer Athletic Camps offer youth athletes an exciting opportunity to build skills, gain confidence, and get a jump on the competition. Most camps are led by Marian varsity coaches, alongside their assistant coaches and student-athletes, providing high-level instruction in a supportive and encouraging environment.

With a strong emphasis on FUNdamentals, campers learn from some of the most accomplished coaches in the state. Beyond great instruction, your daughter will experience an all-female camp setting that reflects the heart of the Marian sisterhood—where athletes can grow, compete, and connect. Campers are welcome to attend with friends or make new ones along the way at any of our camps or clinics.

Max Enrollment: 20     Cost: $375

Babysitter Bootcamp + CPR/First Aid prepares teens to become confident, capable babysitters through hands-on training in childcare, safety, and leadership. Campers complete First Aid training and CPR certification, learn how to care for children of different ages, practice fun activity ideas to keep kids engaged, and build skills for handling common babysitting situations. The program also introduces what parents look for in a great babysitter and includes simple guidance for marketing babysitting services.

This high-energy science camp features bubbling reactions, colorful experiments, and safe sensory fun. Students make their own slime, dough, fidgets, and more while learning to think like scientists through hands-on discovery.

Campers learn pinch, coil, and slab techniques while creating adorable clay animals, wearables, and personalized creations. A mini gallery walk celebrates their finished masterpieces.

Students become junior detectives as they analyze fingerprints, test evidence, and solve a mystery case. This immersive camp blends science, logic, and teamwork.

Campers explore drone flight through hands-on beginner piloting, safety training, and obstacle challenges with certified professional drone and aviation instructors. Students build confidence while learning the fundamentals of flight. *Course fee includes the purchase of a personal practice drone that goes home with you after camp.

Fit for all skill levels, this hands-on camp introduces the physics of flight and explores emerging real-world professional opportunities in the world of drones and aviation, while developing drone skills through precision flying and both obstacle and mission-based challenges. The course is taught by certified, professional drone instructors. *Course fee includes the purchase of a personal practice drone that goes home with you after camp.

In this hands-on summer class, middle school students will become digital storytellers--writing their own original stories, transforming them into visual storyboards, and bringing them to life as interactive adventures. Along the way, they'll learn foundational programming concepts such as variables, logic, and branching narratives using beginner-friendly tools like Twine.

In this voluntary, supplemental weeklong session, students will meet for two hours each day, completing grammar exercises and practicing writing process as they relate to Marian English courses. More specifically, the first part of each session will focus on specific grammatical skills that are important components to the writing process (e.g., parallel structure, complex sentences, proper punctuation, clauses).  As students move through the writing process at Marian, writing style becomes more complex, so these grammatical lessons will lay (or review) the foundation for this writing. For the second part of the session, the grammar lessons from the morning will be put into practice with paragraph-style writing assignments.

Most Marian freshmen take Algebra I. Because every student will later take Algebra 2, it is critical to a student’s long-term academic success that she have a strong and solid foundation before moving on from Algebra I. Summer Math Foundations builds upon incoming students’ 8th grade algebra skills, exploring content in even deeper and wider breadth so that students are best equipped for their freshman math course. 

Curriculum materials will be provided by Marian. Students are asked to bring their own notebook and pens/pencils and a laptop. If a student does not have a laptop, please email Mrs. McRoberts at mcrobertss@marian-hs.org.  For each day, please bring a snack and a bottle of water. We will be working in the classroom and will have limited access to school facilities. Drinking fountains and restrooms will be available all week.
