7th (Soon-to-Be 8th) Graders
The application portal for the Class of 2027 will go live on this page in mid-September. Please do not begin an application until after September 15. If you have not already been added to our invitation list, please click the "Inquire/Schedule a Visit" button to share your contact information. We will notify you once shadow visit dates are open and the application portal is live!

8th (Soon-to-Be 9th) Graders Seeking Fall '22-'23 Enrollment in Marian's Class of 2026:
Marian is currently accepting applications for the fall, but is nearing capacity for the Class of 2026. Please contact the Office of Admission for more information, and:
    *The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is required for admission to Marian's Class of 2026. 

    Scholarships for the Class of 2026
    Please note, scholarship application deadlines for the '22-'23 school year have passed, but information is provided below for your reference. Students are welcome to apply for scholarships in future school years. Opportunities for tuition assistance may still exist; please contact the Office of Admission for more information!

    Academic Merit Scholarships for the Class of 2026
    Students who applied for admission to the Class of 2026 by Thursday, December 2, 2021 and met the following criteria were considered for renewable* academic merit scholarships awarded at the time of acceptance:
    • Student had achieved an “A” in all core academic subjects (English, math, science and social studies) for grade 7 and grade 8 (1st quarter).
    • Student had achieved a minimum national percentile composite score of 90 on the HSPT (must test in November or December - HSPT scores were received and verified by the Office of Admission in late December, prior to the acceptance deadline).
    • Student had submitted the required Academic Merit Scholarship Application/Essay (this is different than the required admission application essay) and a teacher recommendation letter by Thursday, December 2, 2021.
     
    If all criteria were met, scholarships were awarded as follows:
     
    HSPT Composite (National Percentile)   97-99          94-96          90-93
    Academic Merit Scholarship Award        $3,000         $2,500         $1,500
     
    *Students must maintain a 3.5 GPA for renewal.

     
    Post-registration Scholarships for the Class of 2026
    Students who applied for admission, were accepted, and registered in early March also had the opportunity to apply for a variety of post-registration scholarships based on leadership, character, and exceptional talents. Review post-registration scholarships here

    In addition, Marian Tuition Assistance Grants and Archdiocese of Detroit Grants may be available to families who are committed to providing their daughter(s) a Marian education but require assistance. View all grant opportunities here.

    9th and 10th (Soon-to-Be 10th and 11th Graders) Seeking TRANSFER Enrollment* for Fall '22: 
    The last opportunity for a student to apply to Marian is for second quarter start of 11th grade.
    • Print and complete the Transfer Admission Application and submit it to admission@marian-hs.org
    • Submit the following items to admission@marian-hs.org:
      • standardized test results for the current plus two previous academic years
      • report cards for the current plus two previous academic years
    • Upon an initial review, the Admission Committee will determine if student may move forward to the next step in the process, a transfer interview.
    *Important note regarding transfer admission: If applying for transfer admission, please be aware that MHSAA rules limit a student’s athletic eligibility upon transferring from one high school to another.  Please complete this form for athletic eligibility review.
