9th Grade Scholarships
Scholarships may be awarded only to students who submit their application materials by the December 10 deadline. Students applying for admission after the December 10 deadline may not be eligible for scholarships.
Mind & Heart Scholarship
The Mind & Heart Scholarship celebrates qualities such as talent, character, creativity, compassion, faith, leadership, service, and resilience. Recipients demonstrate qualities that reflect Marian’s mission and would make a positive contribution to the life of the school. They may be traditional or quiet leaders, serving their schools, families, and communities with a spirit that enriches the lives of those around them.
The Mind & Heart Scholarship recognizes students for who they are, what they value, and what they will bring to Marian. No separate scholarship application is required. The Scholarship Committee will consider each applicant automatically based on her admission essay and other materials submitted as part of the admissions process, using the following criteria:
- Character and integrity
- A commitment to living Gospel values and serving others
- Respect for the dignity and diversity of others
- Evidence of leadership, initiative, or positive influence, whether formal or informal
- Distinctive talents, passions, creativity, or contributions to their community
- Resilience, personal growth, or perseverance in the face of challenges
- Qualities that would contribute positively to Marian and reflect what it means to be a strong woman of mind and heart
- Alignment with Marian's mission and vision
Mind & Heart Scholarship award amounts vary, are non-renewable, and will be shared at the time of admission.
Academic Merit Scholarships
Marian automatically offers Academic Merit Scholarships to on-time applicants for 9th grade based on the November or December test dates of the HSPT (no scholarship application required).
Academic Merit Scholarship Criteria
HSPT Composite National Percentile Score (CMNP) of:

*Academic merit scholarships are renewable, provided student maintains a 3.5 GPA.
Named Scholarships
Named Scholarships ranged from $1,800 up to $6,300 for the most recent incoming class. Potential award amounts for the future Class of 2031will be posted here available. To apply, applicants for 9th grade should submit the following with their admission application by the December 10, 2026 deadline:
- Named scholarship application (available in the Admission portal)
- Letter of recommendation (from a teacher, moderator, supervisor or coach) to be emailed to admission@marian-hs.org.
- FACTS Financial Aid (required for need-based scholarships only)
