Marian Mission Trips

Marian offers service immersion mission trips abroad for juniors and seniors each year during the school’s February mid-winter break.  Campus ministry and theology teachers organize the trips to Latin America through International Samaritan.

After the application process, students meet with the faculty, staff, and/or parents, who will accompany them to plan and prepare for the trips.  They spend a week ministering to the people of a select country in Central America, visiting families, helping at local schools, and completing projects needed by the communities.  At the end of each day, students and group leaders discuss, pray, and reflect on their experiences.  These mission trips service not only those in Central America, but also make a lasting impact on the Marian students who learn the value of faith, joy, and sacrifice to continue servicing their communities well beyond these trips.
