RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY RECAP

Marian for the Generations

Marian High School celebrated the official ribbon cutting for two major renovation projects: the Fisher Family Science Wing, made possible by the generosity of the Fisher Family, and the Wanink Art Wing, brought to life thanks to alumna Billie Jo Wanink ’63. Within the Fisher Family Science Wing, the school also dedicated the Ray and Sue Ebbing Family Classroom, made possible through the generosity of Ray and Sue Ebbing ’77 and their steadfast support of Marian’s mission.

Marian extends heartfelt gratitude to the donors, alumnae, and community members who joined us for this milestone occasion, marking the completion of Phase 1 of the Marian for the Generations Capital Campaign. Special thanks to Gleeson Constructors for leading the renovation project, and to the Class of 1970, whose generosity has enhanced science education for current and future Mustangs. These newly renovated spaces will empower our students to learn, explore, and lead with confidence, creativity, and purpose.

Campaign Goal: $7 Million

Our goal is $7 million, but Marian for the Generations is about much more than our target number. It is our promise to honor the legacy of over 60 graduating classes of exceptional women, while building a future that empowers new generations of Mustangs to navigate an ever-changing world with courage and resilience. It is our pledge to offer more bright young women access to an outstanding education. Above all, it is our commitment to foster creativity and opportunity, blending tradition with innovation—for our students, our teachers, and our entire Marian community."
