Congratulations Class of 2022

Diplomas were bestowed on 94 seniors at Marian High School’s 59th annual commencement exercises at St. Hugo of the Hills. Valedictorians of the Marian Class of 2022 were Lauren Holt, Kayleigh Kewson and Charlotte Mustion.

Family and friends recognized the accomplishments of the Class of 2022, which included:
•   2 National Merit Commended Scholars
•   85 Presidential Educational Excellence awardees
•   $16,706,272 in college scholarship money earned (as of May 3, 2022).

Meghan Sharkey
was voted by her classmates as the recipient of the Woodburn Distinguished Senior Award in recognition of her “quality of character that manifests integrity, purpose, principle, and faith.” 
Additionally, these seniors received further recognition of their achievements:

Soren May:
  Theresa Maxis Duchemin, IHM Award for superior service to the underprivileged, awarded by the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, which sponsors Marian.

Jacqueline Ambrose:
  Mothers’ Club Excellence Award for service to her class and to Marian over the past four years.

Anna Herberholz:
  George DuFour Scholar Athlete Award for high scholastic achievement, involvement in more than one sport, and the true spirit of sportsmanship.

Isabella Agrusso:
  Herman Spirit Award from her classmates for her enthusiasm, positive attitude, and pride in her class and school.

Anna Herberholz:
David A. Feldman “Be Awesome” Award for a senior athlete who exemplifies energy and enthusiasm, motivating and supporting her team to be and do the best they could, awarded by the Marian Athletic Club.

Jillian Davis:
Marian Acts of Christian Service Medal for the highest number of service hours.

Elizabeth Lamarche:
Marian Senior Class Citizenship Award given for a senior’s exemplary manner of living each day with respect to others, herself and her community.
