The National Merit Scholarship Program names Grace Bitti '24 as a Commended Student

Marian is proud to announce Grace Bitti ’24 as a 2024 National Merit Scholarship Commended Student.
Marian is proud to announce Grace Bitti ’24 as a 2024 National Merit Scholarship Commended Student! The National Merit qualifying program recently recognized 34,000 commended students throughout the nation for their exceptional academic promise. Although these students will not continue in the 2024 competition for National Merit Scholarship, they placed among the top 50,000 of more than 1.3 million students who entered the 2024 competition by taking the 2022 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship qualifying test.

I love the environment at Marian and all the opportunities this school has provided. 
 
What are your plans after Marian – where are you apply to college, and what majors are you thinking about?  
I plan to apply to the University of Michigan, UCLA, UC Berkeley, and the University of Chicago and I’m thinking about majoring in astrophysics or pre-med.
