Marian Scholarships

Marian sponsors several scholarships to incoming freshmen:
  • Academic Scholarships (2)- applicants must have a composite score in the 90th percentile or above on the High School Placement Test. 
  • Christine Else ’90 Memorial Art Scholarship (1)- all incoming freshman students are eligible to apply.
  • General Scholarships (5)- all incoming freshman students are eligible to apply.
  • Mary Ann DuBay Leadership Scholarship (1) - all incoming freshman students are eligible to apply.
  • Margaret T. McMahon English Scholarship (1)- applicants must have a composite score in the 90th percentile or above on the High School Placement Test.
Each freshman scholarship is worth $1,000 and is awarded to incoming ninth graders based on their application, accomplishments, previous school record, test scores, and recommendations. Students may apply for as many scholarships as they qualify for; however, only one scholarship per student will be offered.  Students will be offered applications for these scholarships after they have registered to attend Marian.

  • Sr. Elizabeth Girardot, IHM Scholarship (1 awarded)
  • Mary Anne Harahan Scholarship (1 awarded/renewable)
  • Courtney Elizabeth Johns ’96 Memorial Scholarship (1 per class/renewable)
  • Kerry A. Kerby '98 Memorial Scholarship (1 awarded)
  • Kolasa Kelly Science Scholarship (1 awarded/renewable)
  • Raymond J. Nagle Memorial Scholarship (1 per class/renewable)
  • Sr. Dorothy Peltier, IHM Science Scholarship (1 awarded)
  • Sr. Lenore Pochelski, IHM Scholarship (3 awarded)
  • Samyn Akao Science Scholarship (1 awarded)
  • Taunt Family Memorial Scholarship (3 awarded/renewable)
