Marian Senior Signs National Letter of Intent

Marian senior Shannon Atwell recently signed to play volleyball next fall at John Carroll University, where she plans to study biology.
Shannon, daughter of Susan and Steven Atwell of Bloomfield Township, is the setter for Marian’s varsity volleyball team and an Academic All American as well as CHSL All-Academic.
 
At Marian, Shannon participates in Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, STEM Club, Medical Club, and Ambassador Club. She volunteers at St. Regis Vacation Bible School as well as for Forgotten Harvest.
 
“Marian surrounded me with people who encouraged me to do my best and work hard every day,” said Shannon at the time of her signing.
