Diplomas were bestowed on 118 seniors at Marian High School’s 57th annual commencement exercises at St. Hugo of the Hills Church, Bloomfield Hills. Valedictorian of the Marian Class of 2019 is Claire Fanning (Bloomfield Hills) and salutatorian is Julia Barto (Bloomfield Hills).

Nadine Abro (Waterford) was voted by her classmates as the recipient of the Woodburn Distinguished Senior Award in recognition of her “quality of character that manifests integrity, purpose, principle, and faith.”

Hayley Gappy (West Bloomfield) received the Theresa Maxis Duchemin, IHM Award for superior service to the underprivileged, awarded by the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary which sponsors Marian.
Margaret Christ (Bloomfield) received the Mothers’ Club Excellence Award for service to her class and to Marian over the past four years.
Megan Kraus (Birmingham) earned the George DuFour Scholar Athlete Award for high scholastic achievement, involvement in more than one varsity sport, and the true spirit of sportsmanship.
Leah Wilson (Southfield) was chosen for the Herman Spirit Award by her classmates because of her enthusiasm, positive attitude, and pride in her class and school.
Advanced Placement Government Seniors and We the People State Showcase students Lena McKenney, Hannah Kaczmarek, Katie Freese, and Jen Suan traveled to the State Capitol on March 14th to represent Marian in celebrating Michigan’s official inaugural “Civic Learning Week 2024.”
