Marian Honors the 175th Jubilee of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

The IHM Sisters celebrated their 175th Anniversary of service and dedication to their Mission, Urged by the love of God, we choose to work with others to build a culture of peace and right relationship among ourselves, with the Church and with the whole Earth community; and their Vision, The IHM community envisions and is committed to bringing about the dream of God on planet Earth through respect for, nurturing of and promoting the liberation and well-being of all persons and all of nature as God’s good creation.
In recognition of this monumental occasion, Marian is proud to present a special display in our main hallway. This dedication to our founders and partners in mission is our way of honoring those who are an instrumental part of our past, while reaffirming our vow to live out the IHM vision into the future.

It was their foresight and deeply held beliefs that established the unshakable foundation for Marian, a school devoted to fostering excellence in education and nurturing strong women of mind and heart. They have given us their educators, their leadership, their values and beliefs, and most of all, their incredible generosity, and indispensable support of their full congregation. For this, the entire Marian family is forever grateful.

The display features photos that span the school’s 60 years of partnership with the IHM’s and also lists the names of all of the IHM Sisters who have been a part of the school throughout that time.
