Marian Announces Two College Board National Recognition Program Awardees

Congratulations to Juniors Gabrielle Sanders and Amina Thompson for being named College Board National Recognition Program Awardees!  The College Board National Recognition Programs create pathways to college for underrepresented students by awarding them academic honors and connecting them with universities across the country.  This honor was given based on their scores from the sophomore year PSAT. The College Board recognizes PSAT test takers with a 3.5 GPA or higher, who scored in the top 10 percent in their state, earned a score of three or higher on two or more AP exams, and are African American or Black, Hispanic American or Latinx, Indigenous, and/or attend school in rural or small towns.
Gabrielle is the daughter of Hubert Sanders of Redford Michigan and Amina is the daughter of Melissa and Ian Thompson of Auburn Hills. Their test scores and academic achievements are incredibly impressive, and Marian is very proud of them!
