Marian’s Art Students Selected for and Win Awards at SE Michigan Regional Scholastic Art Awards

Marian’s Isabel Abdal '23, Adriana Grillo '22, and Chloe Walblay '22 took home awards in the Southeast Michigan Regional Scholastic Art Awards. Out of 5,500 entries from across the region, only 1,100 works of art were selected.
 
Isabel won a Gold Key for her ceramic sculpture “Insidious”. Adriana won a Silver Key for her Linoleum Block Print “Discord” and Chloe won an Honorable Mention for her Painting “Overwhelmed”.
 
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent and present their remarkable work to the world through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. The Awards give students opportunities for recognition, exhibition, publication, and scholarships.
