Spanish Honor Society Packs Joy for Kids

Members of the Marian Spanish Honor Society participated in a challenge to pack shoe boxes with as many toys, school supplies, clothing, and personal items they could fit as part of Operation Christmas Child. Every box packed is unique to ensure children of all ages, around the world can receive everything from soap and water bottles, to crayons, pens, coloring books, and notebooks, to dolls, stuffed animals, toy trucks and even a soccer ball.  In total, students packed 33 shoe boxes that will be sent to Spanish-speaking countries.  Students were also encouraged to include a note in Spanish to the child who will receive the box

Since 1993, over 198 million boys and girls in more than 170 countries and territories have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child.  Samaritan’s Purse works with local churches and ministry partners to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ.
