Testing Program
Each step in Marian’s counseling curriculum prepares our students to achieve their college goals. We offer a comprehensive standardized testing program to prepare our students to be successful on college admission tests. Our students begin their preparation with the pre-ACT exam as underclasswomen. During junior year, students have the opportunity to take a practice ACT test, and then will take the ACT college entrance exam in spring of their junior year with their classmates at Marian.
Students also have the opportunity to practice for the SAT college entrance exam by taking the PSAT test both in sophomore and junior year. The junior PSAT may also qualify students for the National Merit Scholarship Program awarding college scholarships to high scorers.
