Mrs. Krogh comes to Marian from Everest Collegiate High School, where she had been the sole counselor since 2012. In her role, she oversaw every aspect of the department and created much of the counseling curriculum for what was – at the time – a very new high school. Prior to Everest, Mrs. Krogh spent a year as a school counselor at the Academy of the Sacred Heart, where her husband has been a Latin teacher since 2006.

Mrs. Krogh describes herself as “never not being in school” since – prior to entering the field of counseling – she worked for Calvin College, University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in roles increasingly focused on writing and editing. With her experience in higher education, her student-focused approach to counseling, her desire to meet teens where they are, and her passion for helping students discover and become the best version of themselves, Mrs. Krogh is a strong asset to our Counseling Department.

Mrs. Krogh holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Calvin University (née Calvin College), and an MA in Counseling with a specialization in School Counseling from Oakland University. Her licenses and certifications include an LPC (licensed practicing counselor), SCL (school counselor license), and NCC (national certified counselor). She is a member of the American School Counseling Association and the Michigan School Counselor Association.

Mr. Bellante joins Marian from Metro EHS Pediatric Therapy, where he served as a Clinic Administrator for almost two years. He employed a servant leadership style to build relationships with staff and clients alike. Prior to that, Vince Bellante dedicated himself to Farmington Public Schools as a Special Education Teacher at both the middle and high school levels, where he served as a beacon of support and advocacy for students with special needs spanning three decades.

Mr. Bellante holds a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Marygrove College, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Saginaw State University. As our Accommodations Specialist, he
works closely with students (primarily with those who have accommodation plans) to ensure their needs are being met effectively. He also collaborates with classroom teachers to provide appropriate resources
and strategies for students with various learning styles. Mr. Bellante offers a great deal of experience and enthusiasm, playing an integral role in addressing students’ ever-changing needs at Marian and providing resources to further support student success in our rigorous academic programming.
