    Ava Sarafa Wins the Athlete of the Year Award

    Marian’s Ava Sarafa ’23, the captain of the state-champion Mustangs volleyball team, was selected as the winner of the 2023 Catholic League’s Walt Bazylewicz Athlete of the Year, the highest honor for a female and male athlete.  She becomes the third straight Marian student-athlete to win the award.

  • Marian Walk-A-Thon

    Marian students, faculty and staff participated in the annual Walk-a-Thon on May 2, to raise money for Angels' Place, Shades of Pink and Downtown Boxing Gym.  The All School Board, in collaboration with the Marian Mindset Project, provided students with breakout sessions featuring mental-health-centered activities, such as Zumba, yoga, meditation, therapy dogs, and journaling. The Marian Mindset Project is an initiative that was created by Anna Beck '23, dedicated to reducing the stigma of mental health issues, spreading awareness about mental health support, and promoting healthy minds and bodies.
