At Marian, parents are considered to be the most important partners in the education of our students. We encourage parents to be involved in the lives of their daughters by being involved in the life of the school. The Mothers’ Club, Dads’ Club, and Marian Athletic Club each offer a variety of opportunities for parent involvement. Parents can share their time and talents with their daughters and with the Marian community in many ways, including volunteering, social groups and networking, service and philanthropy, and Christian reflection, among others.
Marian’s Benefit Evening SnowBall 2023 celebration will take place in The Kingsley Bloomfield Hills – a DoubleTree by Hilton. Doors open at 6:00 PM for guests to enjoy cocktails, a strolling dinner, a live auction, raffle, and live music featuring Good Gravy! Après-ski or your favorite chic winter wear, is the dress for the evening.

The Mothers’ Club is a very active organization at Marian High School. There always seems to be something that needs that special moms touch. It might be baking sweets for Back to School Night, serving on a committee, or volunteering time and talent to the Marian Benefit Evening. Whatever time and service our Marian mothers can give is always greatly appreciated. This organization provides an opportunity to form new friendships and to share good times with other Marian moms.
All mothers of Marian students are members of the Mothers’ Club and encouraged to attend the monthly meetings. Meetings alternate between mornings and evenings.
Dads' Club
An organization long known for its staunch support of Marian, the Dads’ Club is dedicated to providing special assistance to Marian students, administration, faculty, and staff, and to supporting and sponsoring service, spiritual, and social activities for its members. Fathers of current students and other men – including parents of alumnae, faculty, and friends of Marian – are invited to join the Dads’ Club. For nearly 40 years and through activities such as the Father/Daughter Christmas party, the Father/Daughter service project, the Scholarship Fund Raffle, the Marian Benefit Evening, the Dads’ Club has made a positive impact on the Marian High School community.
Dads’ Club meetings start at 6:30 PM with a light supper and networking time in addition to a business meeting and program that conclude by 8:30 PM. All Marian dads are members of the Dads’ Club and welcome to attend the monthly meetings.
Marian Athletic Club
The Marian Athletic Club is the fundraising arm of the Athletic Department. The mission of the Athletic Club is to improve the uniforms, equipment, and playing facilities of the Marian sports teams. Members provide assistance with the gate admissions and concessions; they serve as scorers and timers for games and perform other duties as they arise.
The Athletic Club has several sources of funding including concession sales, the Spring Golf Outing, and other fundraising events. Parent volunteers are needed for all of these activities. Participation in the Marian Athletic Club and its fundraising ventures helps all 17 interscholastic sports and 37 athletic teams. An added bonus is the fun and friendships the members experience.
All Marian parents, coaches, and teachers are invited to attend the monthly evening meetings in the Theresa Maxis Room and to participate in Marian Athletic Club events.
