FRESHMAN ADMISSION FOR '24-'25 SCHOOL YEAR

Hello future Mustangs- we look forward to receiving your application for the Class of 2028! All components of the application (bolded below) must be completed by December 7, 2023 for on-time admission. We will accept late applications on a rolling basis, and register students as capacity permits after December 7.
  1. Attend Fall Information Night (September 26) and Fall Open House (November 5)
  2. Schedule a shadow visit
  3. Register for the High School Placement Test (call 248-502-3033 to schedule an open edition HSPT if you missed the fall/winter dates)
  4. Print and complete Section I of the Student Profile Release & Form, and give it to your current school for return to Marian with:
    • 6th-8th grade standardized tests
    • 7th - 8th grade report cards
  5. Complete the electronic admission application
  6. Print and complete the supplemental essay question, then upload it to your application or submit it via email to admission@marian-hs.org
  7. OPTIONAL: complete the Named Scholarship Application (see scholarships for more information)- no longer avaialble after December 7.
  8. OPTIONAL: complete a FACTS/Grant & Aid application (see tuition assistance for more information)

Marian will make scholarship and tuition assistance awards to on-time admission applicants with admission decisions on January 26, 2024. Students applying for admission after December 7, 2023 will not be eligible for scholarships for the upcoming school year. Families applying for tuition assistance after December 7, 2023 may be eligible, depending on funds remaining at the time of application.

TRANSFER ADMISSION FOR THE CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR

Transfer Applicants for Current Grades 9-11:
The '23-'24 school year began August 15, 2023. Please contact the Office of Admission at 248-502-3033 prior to beginning the steps listed below, and to schedule a tour of Marian.

  1. Once you've communicated with Admission, please:
    1. start an application (and complete required supplemental essay)
    2. submit the following with your application:
      1. standardized test results for the current plus two previous academic years
      2. report cards for the current plus two previous academic years
    3. Upon an initial review, the Admission Committee will determine if student may move forward to the next step in the process, a transfer interview
    Important information regarding transfer admission:
    The last opportunity for a student to apply for a transfer to Marian is for a second quarter start of 11th grade. If applying for transfer admission, please be aware that MHSAA rules limit a student’s athletic eligibility upon transferring from one high school to another.  Please complete this form for athletic eligibility review.
